FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Pacific Baby™ releases new bamboo-based natural feeding range
Salt Lake City, Utah, U.S.A., March 2nd, 2015 – the world’s largest supplier of heallthy and environmentally sustainable thermal baby bottles, Utah-based Pacific Baby Incorporated (www.pacificbabyworld.com) announced today the commercial release of a unique, natural feeding range of plates, bowls and utensils for baby.
The new Bamboo-Based Natural Feeding Range is made from natural bamboo fiber, plant-based starches and food-grade color pigments. The range is very durable, can be machine washed, and is 100% plastic-free.
In addition to these very interesting features, the items are completely biodegradable, and should last from 18 months to two years.
“For several years now parents worldwide have clearly indicated a growing desire to reduce the use of plastic as a base material for feeding baby” said Mr. Cameron Honarvar, Pacific Baby’s Director. "Glass is a difficult and breakable material, silicone can be pricey, isn't degradable and often just doesn’t feel right, and many plant-based tableware items like corn and potato starch just don’t seem to have the durability and heat resistance to be practical for many parents. However, by incorporating bamboo as the principal ingredient of our new feeding line, we’ve added a large dose of durability and heat resistance to the mix, making natural, plastic-free feeding a real and practical solution now for parents everywhere. The fact that these items will all retail for US$4.50-$10, while being completely biodegradable, are further incentives to parents. Being healthy, respectful to our planet, and all for US$4.50-$10 – it’s a good proposition for everyone involved” added Mr. Honarvar, "especially when you consider that the baby feeding segment is probably one of the most plastic-pollutive consumer segments in the world".
The natural feeding range will initially comprise six different bowls, plates and utensils in four colors each.
